Our Mission

At 5 and 5 Lacrosse, we specialize in both individual and group lacrosse instruction, tailored to the skill level of every player. Our commitment is to enhance technical skills, develop lacrosse IQ, and teach essential concepts that form the foundation of successful gameplay. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our experienced coaches are dedicated to nurturing your growth and confidence on the field.

Our Services

  • Individual Coaching Sessions:
    One-on-one skill development tailored to each athlete’s needs.

  • Small Group Clinics:
    Skill clinics for groups of 5–20 players, focusing on core skills, game IQ, and teamwork.

  • Day Camps:
    Intensive, full-day lacrosse camps during school breaks or summer, featuring drills, scrimmages, and guest speakers.

Proven Track Record

Coach Brennan

Years of Effective Training

Coach Brennan began his lacrosse career at the Independence School in Newark, Delaware. He was on the first team the school fielded and began as the goalie and defender. He continued playing for Sanford in high school where he was a 4 year varsity starter and All-State defender. During this time, he also played for Silverbacks Lacrosse Club, and was recruited to Goucher College 16', where he was teammates with Coach Annunziato. In college, Coach played close defense, LSM, and SSDM.

Coach Brennan continued staying connected to the game after college by going back to Independence, becoming an assistant coach from 2017-2022. During this time he coached travel club lacrosse for the 302 Lacrosse 23' and 24' teams. In 2023, he moved to Middletown, becoming a Cavalier and the head coach at Middletown High School. During his time coaching, he has helped develop many middle school and high school athletes into college caliber players.

Outside of lacrosse, Coach Brennan is a business teacher at Odessa High School, enjoys spending summers in Bethany Beach, plays golf, and lives in Middletown with his wife and animals on their family farm.

Coach Annunziato

Years of Effective Training

Coach Annunziato was originally introduced to Lacrosse at the age of 8 through his neighbor, who was the Head Coach at St. Joe’s University. Coach was immediately in love with the game and dedicated himself to practice and played for the West Chester Club through elementary and middle school. He played at Bayard Rustin from 2008-2012. During that time he played Club for BlackBear and NextLevel Lacrosse, and was recruited to Goucher College, the tenth ranked Division III team in the country. He played midfield, and then started at attack his junior and senior years, tying a school record for assists in a game (7). 

 

Coach Annunziato worked for Crabs Lacrosse Club, as an assistant coach for the elementary teams, and coached the boys camp in Hagerstown Maryland. After his time with Crabs Lacrosse, he was the Assistant Coach for FCA’s Boys Lacrosse club, working with top coaches and players in the Baltimore area. 

 

From 2016-2018, Coach Annunziato became the Graduate Assistant & Offensive Coordinator for his Goucher College, teaching high-level skill and mental training. The team reached the playoffs for the first time in three years during this time. 

 

Coach Annunziato earned his Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership & Management and has since been following the game of lacrosse closely as he works during the day as a Recruiting Consultant. He relies heavily on his lacrosse training and Master’s to achieve a high level of success in the corporate world.
